CanuckRightWinger wrote:How about Watson's lawyer Rusty Hardin last week declaring publicly that his client didn't do anything wrong because "a happy ending is NOT illegal." :shock2: :arrow2: :roll2:

ME: Did Rusty Hardin maybe borrow that line from the Robert Kraft defense team??? :lol2:

Hey Mr. Hardin, lemme help you out with some other helpful courtroom lines you can use in Watson's defense in the future:

Hey, your Honor.....how about a little perspective? I mean, it's not like my client was selling military secrets to the Russians, right??!!

Let me remind the jury, that my client is a sensitive and empathetic young man who feels America's pain over the widespread violence in our nation caused by firearms. Proof of this is the fact that NEVER, from any of his 24 accusers.....was there ever any mention of my client employing gunplay during either their negotiating, nor their actual encounters! I think this speaks volumes about the kindness and humanity of my client!!

Hey, Members of the Jury......lets remember that every guy needs a hobby, eh?

Man alive.....sure looks like the Cleveland braintrust messed up on that due diligence thang, eh!! :P

Seriously, there is talk of the NFL now suspending Watson for all of 2022....the whole season. :idea2:

I think Watson should be suspended the entire season...and more!!!

Agreed, Haden! :idea2:
Back when there were IIRC 21 documented Watson accusers, and the Dolphins wanted DW to be their QB of the future, their condition was that he "settle" all the cases prior to signing with Miami.

The story goes that DW offered each one of the 21 women $100,000 cash to go away. ($2.1 Million).
Apparently the majority were willing to take the cash, but 4 declined because apparently the NDA (NonDisclosure Agreement) put in front of the plaintiffs by Watson's lawyer was too restrictive/harsh to the 4 holdouts.
Hence, the Miami deal for Watson was withdrawn by Dolphins brass.

Seems that the Cleveland braintrust were not so discerning or smart eh!!! :? :arrow2: :roll2:

AND ANOTHER THING...
Like Jesus, Mary and Joseph....how does a fanbase cheer for a guy like this, huh???
.....and its not like its Leonard DUIManslaughterGuy Little back in Saint Lou days, which was bad enough....BUT,
Deshaun Watson "would be" the face of the Cleveland Browns Franchise as their QB, no ??!! :? :arrow2: :oops2:
