It's not a secret. If you call their PR they will answer your questions. I was just passing along the info. I've known a guy that has worked for them 35 years. So he shares things with me that he normally wouldn't. I'll just come here to read from now on, will that make you happy?

Did your source say "he left without a contract" or "he left". Could be he wants more money, wants a day to think about it or signed and said "give me a day to tell my family".

All opinions are welcome. All intel (when legit) is what can make a board fun. Dig it!

Interesting quote. Feels like the Rams are still on his mind. I guess it depends on how he perceives “winning.” Though I’m sure if the right teams offers just big dollars he’s gonna see that as winning.

Hope he doesn’t get greedy and wake up to the reality of what the Rams did last year and try to do every year. It’s a winning culture!!

Hey, I don't blame these guys for getting as much money as they possibly can. But, yes, what often gets lost in these conversations is team culture. Other teams might be able to offer more money, but they don't have the culture that McVay and Snead have built. If he wants to win, the Rams are built to win, obviously...

I'd like to see Wagner playing for us -- and our young LBs learning from him!

That's what it comes down to......winning vs money. If winning isn't as important as money, you're going to go somewhere shitty but you're going to make some dough. If winning is more important, you're going to enjoy your season but make less money. It's an easy decision for somebody sitting at a keyboard but for me, enjoyment & winning & less money trumps frustration, losing and more money. and like you say, can't blame them for their decisions.
