Btw: I have only EVER been banned on STL Rams sites. BECAUSE the STL posters were trolling everywhere. Well, and I didn't like Bradford.

All other teams boards have loved me.

I sincerely hope we never ever again see posters such as STL sent around each week to our opponents. It was truely embarrasing.

And: ROD supported.

I hope RFU never supports such trolling.

Since the topic is up: I am going to bring it up.

Mr. St. Louis used to go to all our opponent's boards and make up names and troll them before we played them. The poster on ROD called RamsFanz did as well. They would troll and act like total idiots.

They fed off each other, then made a thread at ROD of there "adventures" including when they were banned and the new names they made.

It was impossible for me or any real Rams fans to even get a conversation because they were acting like little frat boys. Was so embarrassing as a real Rams fan. (ROD supported the idiots).

I sincerely hope since they are StL fans, that this trend does not continue.

Yeah, sometimes a fan likes to go onto an opposing forum to get some insight and friendly banter about the teams. But when others goe on just to troll and incite the other team it makes it difficult for the ones who are just trying to be reasonable. The other fans will just lump all Rams fan together assuming they're all there to troll.

Well, my experience was supported and encouraged by one of the largest Rams Boards at the time: ROD.

eta: I am not talking about all StL posters. Just the few who have posted against me on other teams boards and called me out as an "LA" fan and not a true fan of the Rams.

They constanlty called me not a 'true" Rams fan because I would not troll other teams. and, ROD supported them on this. I was called a hooker and worse, and X had a few choice words to support this trolling.

Since I really don't care about what happens in STL anymore, and have deleted all my connections to anything STL Rams related, I wasn't even going to read this thread, but I was bored so I did.

The only thing I feel strongly about is the sleeze that exists on ROD. I'm sure there are some very nice posters over there, but that X guy and his buddy whatever his name is are pure phony thieves. I think most of the posters on this board know how I feel about them from previous posts, but I just wanted to warn the new posters here to stay away from them. ROD is a disgrace to Rams fans everywhere.

ROD is suffering right now, but I was always impressed by you max on the herd board....You were one of the few that kept posting about the relocation and many would try to shut you down. The one poster on the Herd I remember was "Tackledummy" He kept posting there was no way they would relocate, constantly and every post was negative towards LA....Well, I have been on that board and I see nothing from him and others too who should be posting that they were wrong and not that Kroenke sucks, but I guess it's just par for the course.

The herd board is run by a guy named Shaky. He is probably the best Rams fan I've ever met. Simply a great and honest guy who had some terrible luck when Sandy hit his home in NJ. I will always support him and anything he does. He actually had inside info on the Rams move from his connections to the Rams FO and he shared a little bit with me. And that supported my beliefs all the way.

Now that the move is done, there are guys taking shots at Demoff, and Shaky is defending him well.

As far as the posters on the herd board who were obtuse regarding LA, well, I chalk that up to mostly denial and a little stupidity. I actually won a silly bet over there that I immediately rescinded. It was all in good fun and I'm too happy about the outcome anyway.

MO offered the top tier clause. I'm no fan of John Shaw, but he didn't snooker anyone on this lease term.

I think what people have finally gotten a glimse in to is how government really works in this country. Not all gov't, but some gov'ts. The vast majority would never believe it unless having seen it first hand. Well folks, we've all seen it first hand now.

And Fabiani, he came from the Deputy Mayors office of LA. Another political operative, but he's not linked himself to the Spanos family. But his style of operation gives you more insight into how politics works behind the scenes. It's beyond ugly.

I wouldn;t know anything about that. I do know St. Louis posters who did nothing like that, and I have known them for years. My point is you can't generalize about all St. Louis posters. What I have seen is different from what you have seen. I know that for certain.

There is really no point in trying to defend Kroenke and the team to some of those people. Its like being jilted by someone and you can't see why, even though you were the reason why. You get angry. You say things. Blame the other person. But you can't see any of your own faults through all of this. You believe its not you and whatever you do won't bring them back.

The reality is, St. Louis is not a city that can support an NFL team. Most of their time and energy is devoted to the baseball team. Its a great baseball city. Plenty of history and tradition. Not so much for football. Even Shad Khan mentioned the economy there isn't sufficient. Davis has ruled out St. Louis as a possible destination for the Raiders. St. Louis just doesn't have the resources to a successful city for an NFL franchise.

Sure, they have hard core fans that want the team at any cost. There just isn't enough of them. Recent attendance showed that. Those hardcore fans are in the minority. I'll bet if you polled every citizen there, you wouldn't see the outrage. Its visible to us because we only see forums with fans of the team. There's plenty who could care less.

We LA Rams fans had to suck it up for over 2 decades. 336 regular season games we watched our team from afar with another cities name and it's fans enjoying them. That is a long long time.
Sure we learned to accept it, but it was a mixed emotion for many. The team went down a notch and the unconditional love was challenged, or at least bruised.

Then they killed the uniform. Blasphemy.

Now after all these years, by the grace of the shield, we have them back where they belong. Each of us can feel that rise in spirit, going back up a notch or 2.

We have new humility but with that we carry collateral damage. We were treated badly by many Rams fans from StL. In a way I'm certain we in Los Angeles threatened them. Not only due to the teams history here and the shear size of our region, but because any reasonable compassionate man or woman would have to feel a bit awkward knowing how we must feel.

The level of civility was actually impressive, but that was mostly due to OUR reserve. Once relocation talk began, lines got drawn between us. The true nature of many started to show through,, on both side of the line of debate. It became a dirty scrum.

Now that it is over, I find myself patrolling (not trolling) the PD and ROD and I found some StL fans handle it better than others. Some are showing us the respect we always deserved and others are so fighting mad they would rather crap down our necks, see our owner and the NFL execs dead and feel they can file and win lawsuits just to get even with the perpetrators.

Any good REAL Rams fan who want's to stick with our team, I welcome them. To the rest It's a little too late and to them and St Louis, I say good riddance.

I hope this is the last time I ever hear about or type St. Louis.

Here's my vent. What gets me the most is those folks most pissed off about the Rams moving to LA can't seem to understand where to put the blame. The St. Louis talking heads and media misled them all. Intead of explaining the Top tier and what it meant, they lied and said if they built a stadium they would stay. The city fathers that signed that lease to bring the Rams to LA and The RSA who broke the lease are soley to blame, but yet hardly anyone from St. Louis blame them. I just don't get it. They should be screaming at their media and the RSA.

There are some good guys out there from St.Louis who are hurting. No doubt about that. I truly respect those that are taking the high road because this is not an easy thing to endure when the Rams have become a part of there lives. The ones that really strike a chord with me are the family guys talking about not being able to take their kids to the game and share those moments. I feel for them the most.

Those are corn fed mid-westerners who have a pride thing that gets in the way of their thinking. Or at least they see things through a different type of filter. Something similar to short mans complex. As much as some will say they didn't give a crap about the Los Angeles Rams before they moved there, I call BS. They may not have been fans but they knew how cool we were. LA baby. They got over on LA which spiked their civic pride like a blast of cappuccino. Felt it put them on our level. Their media (BM) fed that notion.
Obviously now that was a very false sense of security.

Yeah, I wanted to start celebrating the prospect of a move to LA earlier this season and that's when people turned on me. I was told I had to mute my excitement, which was just not possible. The good news is that excitement got me here, where I was able to share with other like minded fans. For me, it's all ended far better than I could have expected. I'm at a place with other long time fans, and our team is finally home.

I stopped watch, reading and listening to all centrally controlled media about 15 years ago. And the reason why is because I found it to be far too manipulative. I learned that I couldn't trust anything coming from the airwaves, and that I was better off trying to figure things out on my own, using my own perspective and judgement. Since I stopped paying attention to media, I find myself to have a better understanding of the world, and generally I'm much much happier.
