Call me bored.the weather has ruined 2 of the 3 games played so far imo, while the chiefs/texans was just a game that included a weak, boring texans team that was very lucky to have made the postseason... a lot of fans seem to love inclement weather nfl games, the snow, the mud, the subzero temp, i've always hated them, because they often severely limit a team's capability and/or competitive edge... for my money i want a setting that allows a team to play to its maximum potential, not a setting that keeps a team from playing to its maximum potential.... the weather gave the bengals and vikes, two teams that fielded less than stellar offenses, a chance to stay in the games, by grounding the steelers and seahawks passing games, if not for the weather both games would have been routs imo...I basically feel the way you do but, I do like that a home field advantage actually is one. I like the variety of the fields and stadiums and how they might be affected by weather. As opposed to the NBA for example. I never understood how a teams in the NBA have "home court advantage". They're all indoors, they're all on identical courts with identical baskets. Sure, the crowd would play some part but not to the ridiculous contrasts that the NBA offers. With the NFL, I've got no problem with teams having a weather advantage in the playoffs. If they've won enough games to get home field and they built their team to play in the cold, more power to them. by moklerman 9 years 6 months ago Total posts: 7680 Joined: Apr 17 2015 Bakersfield, CA Hall of Fame Re: Wild Card Weekend POST #60 aeneas1 wrote:OldSchool wrote:One thing is for certain these networks bring out their worst announcers.
