I don't care if he "considered" a very good QB, system QB or elite QB so long as he continues to lead the Rams to a .743 win percentage (his regular season and postseason win% the last 2 years), gets them to the post season and contends for the SB every year. That .743 earns them almost 12 wins (11.9) in 16 games.

I think that could be said about any quarterback.

how any rams fan isn't absolutely thrilled with what goff has shown over the past two seasons is truly beyond me, especially given what we've seen in horns over the years.

Absolutely right. And though Marino thrilled Miami fans (and NFL fans) he delivered them just 8 postseason wins in 18 postseason games (8-10) over 17 seasons with 1 Superbowl loss. Of course it's been said he never had a legit run game or defense. So at the moment, I'll take Goff's brief career, thank you very much.

True but as the #1 overall pick and considering what the Rams gave up for him, he has to be the very best NFL elite franchise QB!! Anything less is grounds for nitpicking his performances. :roll2:

I think a more complete discussion of Goff would include room for honest debate about where he can improve as a 4th year qb. I don't think that really happens when there's this constant litany of complaint that that discussion is even taking place. You can like the guy and recognize his accomplishments and still see room for him (as a young qb) to improve...the 2 things are not contradictory.

Both Goff and McVay are dedicated to improvement. That's real, and something they work on.

So in your view, in all honesty, in what areas can or should he improve.

Natually some people who are not as certain about Goff as I am could chime in. Fine. The more views we get, the merrier.

These guys are better than Goff right now...

Top tier solid
Brady
Brees
Rodgers
Wilson

Better than Goff right now:
Mahomes (want to see him do it again this year)
Luck (assuming he stays healthy)
Rivers (with * because he disappoints in the playoffs)
Ben (not elite but better than Goff)

I think I have Goff around 8-10 with potential to move up into top 5 this year.

so as far as you're concerned, all of these guys have played better than goff over the past two years? do i have that right?
