Hearing the Donald deal is in the 18mil range, not the 23-24mil range as suspected. Basically, 55 million, all guaranteed for three years with options after.

Word is that in spite of everything we've heard Aaron Donald is paying the Rams 1 M. The Rams would have signed him for nothing but Donald insisted. However the deal lasts for only 4 games. After that Donald is rumored to be retiring and opening his own gym.

Aaron Donald’s agency, CAA, has a history of having players hold out over offset language.

I happen to know that's not accurate as put. As put it implies the agency was causing issues. Actually it was the teams.

First more NFL players are represented by CAA than any other agency. So they do a lot of contracts.

Second the problems with offsets showed up three times. Once with Bosa in his year, and 2 times this year, with the Jets and Bears.

There were all sorts of articles about each incident but in each case, the team was the issue, not the agent. In each case the team was pushing for something unusual or different that was also questionable.

If need be I can load up with links on this, but I was in discussions of this on a different board, and the evidence was overwhelming. In each case the hangup came because of the teams trying to do something a bit out of whack.

While I get that nothing is 100% yet, it sure looks like Aaron Donald will be playing against the Raiders on MNF, while Khalil Mack won't be.
