Yeah, this has got to be one of the biggest marketing failures for an NFL team. DeMoff botched this so badly.

is it any wonder why it took 2+ years to come up with the rams new image/look, i mean it obviously takes a long time to come up with an original concept, original design elements, something fresh and new, rome wasn't built in a day! :oops2:

Y'know, as much as I'm not a fan of the "Good day LA" vibe the new logo has, I could accept it if it was something relatively unique. But the fact that it's a direct rip-off of that college logo is unacceptable. I would sue the marketing firm that "sold" it to me and would make a public announcement that despite our best efforts, we have to go with something else.

It's laughable that the Rams are trying to sell everyone on being fresh and new and exciting when their logo isn't even original. I mean, all the waves and spirals and BS talk about how they <ahem> "developed" the logo and it was flat out stolen. I thought they were being pretentious, which was bad enough. But they freakin' just stole some logo that was whipped up by a Div II school's art class.

What an embarrassment. The Rams are either liars or got swindled by the ad agency.

What's with the flattened horns at the top? That stands out more than anything. Round it off and it would look much better.

Yes, but it's much more likely that Stan would sue Angelo State University for copyright infringement and bully them into dropping the logo that their freshman art class came up with, so that the LA Rams can end up being the only ones with it.

Stan wouldn't be Stan if he didn't know how to push people around to get what he wants.

Which wouldn't remedy the fact that it was a stolen logo design. I'm not sure the Rams can have a copyright on ram horns unless it's a specific design.

Perhaps. But that doesn't mean that Stan can't file a lawsuit, regardless of its relative merits.

I would likely boycott ESK if he did something like that. It's his right to do it but that would make him a POS in my book.

Just viewing that Warner to Bruce gif over and over again and wondering why in the world would anyone in LA be opposed to going back to those uniforms. They were perfect.
