not sure fisher preferred collins as much as he just didn't like young, and i think a lot of that had to do with fisher believing that you needed to earn your stripes in the nfl, not just stroll in as a hot shot top 3 pick and be given the job, hell fisher had mcnair ride pine behind friggin' chandler for two years, and i think fisher pulled the same shit with goff, including dressing goff in civies in front of his family on opening day against the niners, as keenum posted a 34.2 rating (and that rating actually looks better than how keenum looked that night, i was there) as the niners, gabbert and chip kicked the shit out of the rams 28-0... friggin' fisher.

I think we're saying the same type of thing. Goff reminds me of Young in that way. I realize that it's been reported that Fisher wanted Goff or was a part of drafting him or whatever but I never felt like he was a Goff guy.

It always really seemed like he got overruled or outvoted about who the Rams should take #1 and he then did what Fisher does.
