So I went to our local grocery store (Vons) and they had helium balloons tied to the cash registers. Two for the Rams and get this...... two for the Pats. I was outraged (internally). I joked with the lady that where should I lodge a complaint about this. She laughed. The guy behind me said he’s going to the rams register.

I wanna talk to the manger today when I go...... this is unacceptable. I get it when our team isn’t playing. Last year they did eagles and pats balloons which is fine. But this time around this is unacceptable.

Am I overdoing it?

Brother I am so sorry.

I have been working this week and just read your story. Many of us can relate to this in one way or another but your connection actually took my breath away a bit.

There is much redemption in this game for us Rams fans. And now it just took it to another level.

I only have one hope for you. I hope you realize before Sunday her unthinkable selfishness needs to stop controlling you and your life's joys and this needs to stop today. You have a loving Ramily that would NEVER betray your love for our team. ESPECIALLY during the best of our times.

I am taking your spirit to game with me. And sticking her miserable soul in NOLA where it belongs.

She left the kids behind with me and I had them by myself from the ages 8 and 10. The hardest part was seeing her car at his house everyday, and my kids seen this too. She tried to come back 9 months later. There was no way I was going through that again. The kids agreed and told me themselves not to let her back. They are 28 and 26 now and turned into fabulous girls. They still don't speak to her to this day. She traded in her whole family for a guy she was married to for 6 months. Just wow.

Not that it gives you or any of us that have gone through this any real vindication or takes away the pain but, karma really is is a bitch.

For perspective my friend, a lot of time has passed. While our Rams are in the SB finally, it is still just game - one that is supposed to bring us all joy to watch, etc.

I hope you can watch this SB. I hope we win, But either way, I hope you can truly enjoy it, what out team has accomplished, and what it in store for us fans for the foreseeable future.

As was said before, many have experienced similar trauma. And it doesn't take that to understand triggers that are just not worth it no matter the event.

You are a great Dad which is infinitely more important than any personal interests like football. It is always satisfying to be witness of such a person. And a true blessing that your daughters were gifted with such a great man. After what their mother did them and their family, they really needed that.

Even if you can't watch the game, at the very least you have this Ramily to share what you want in these most magical of times being a Rams fan.
