C'mon guys, this has been a nice Goff appreciation thread, let's not ruin it by making it about each other...

Fair enough. Agreed.

There's more Goff stuff to come. It just keeps pouring in.

I don't know yet if it's a shift in the perception tide. But, I like it. 8-)

People get to brag in these forums now and then...which they do, regularly. It's a part of posting. The "see I was right" thing. But you're not personally fixated on others so you don't go after the poster in those other cases. If you were consistent about being a downer over things like that, you could though--you would have lots of opportunities.

It's just strictly personal. If you can't help yourself though have at it. It's easy enough to ignore from now on.

So moving on. 8-)

For me this is a thread about Goff's biggest game so far and a kind of celebration for that and there's plenty more to add to it. So back to Goff.

...

I should apply for an address change... apparently, I’m in someone’s brain.

As much as it’s admirable to see posters admit they were wrong, it is completely pathetic to see someone “call their own number” over an issue they have been so off base on.

Come on dieter, show some respect for the great Ram historian :lol2:

I just can't help but go back to 49er beat writer, Dieter Kurtenbach, who said before the season started that the RAMS were vulnerable because Goff was closer to his rookie season than his 2nd year in terms of ability/success in year 3.

The only thing wrong with your "see I'm right" is it never includes a "look I was wrong".

I concur with the Grand Poobah aka the Kahuna Tuna aka the King of Rock 'n' Roll...
Let's rag on Dieter Kurtenbach instead...

Matt Waldman’s RSP Cast Ep.28: September NFL Quarterback Check-In with Mark Schofield

MATT WALDMAN

link: https://mattwaldmanrsp.com/?powerpress_ ... 31-podcast

Matt Waldman’s RSP Podcast hosts Mark Schofield for a conversation about NFL quarterbacks a month into the 2018 season.

Mark and I riff on several NFL quarterbacks in an hour-long conversation that flies by.

Jared Goff’s development within the Rams offense: What’s new, what’s McVay, and what’s always been, Goff?
Dak Prescott’s woes in Dallas and is he a quarterback who can carry an offense?
Is Oakland’s offense a few plays away from an explosive unit as Marshawn Lynch argues?
Are we concerned about Andrew Luck and Russell Wilson’s ability to carry their offenses as they have in the past?
Does Mitchell Trubisky have a long-term future in this league?
A status report on Tom Brady.
Why Baker Mayfield’s first use should be taken at face value.
How do you stop Patrick Mahomes right now?
A hypothetical game of “Old Faces/New Places”

“Guys”? Interesting. I only see one poster “calling their own number” and making it about themself, but whatevs...

We all have appreciated Goff, and although it’s nice to see some media coming around, I kind of like the “he’ll show them”’attitude they seem to have.
