Which dog, Legends? The city voters and their elected officials (at least most on them) or the task farce?

Oh I agree the real voices that matter have seen the light. However even now on a lot of the boards we visit so many still refuse to believe it really looks like it is over. I am convinced that even now in some circles business leaders and Peacock and co are trying to devise some plan. Which I believe will have no avail or even materialize. I was never dialed into the LA move I was still in the service and just did not follow it. So I have no clue if ya'll had so many zealots. As in my opinion the belief they will win and refuse to give up has reached the point of some one with some real zeal. In my experience of life I have found that zeal really drives folks to extreme measures or even the refusal of known facts and truth. So for these ones while I think it is foolish I have to credit them for just pure tenacity to look at the things the way they are and just not believe their own eyes. Some might call it denial, but my experience in life has also taught me some very successful folks have looked at the face of something and refused to believe it was, denied the facts and believed in themselves. I dare say if they spent the same energy and tenacity and involved time on fixing the problems in their city I do believe they will accomplish the dream city they envision. Just a shame so far the biggest dream I have seen so much energy expended on out of StL has been over keeping a football team. When this energy and tenacity could be focused to fix real problems and find real solutions for the more important questions and problems of life.

So not sure if I make sense bro. However I see some real fight in folks when I read various boards or even some news pieces. Just personally I feel it is a shame. A shame a lot of this spirit will be lost when the Rams move . A spirit if they embraced and took hold of they could surely use to do more and greater things than just merely trying to build a stadium. So any way I myself give them credit for being able to tap into such a driving force. Question is can they have the wisdom to learn how to use the same force for things that really matter.

Bravo Legends. Good take. They are tenacious (among other things) so I will to give credit where it' due. It's just difficult to listen to some of that illogical logic. Go to the PD and browse a few non football related threads and you will get a new perspective of some of those other things. lol

Because the financial powers of San Diego worked on theirs and have nothing to hide. St Louis on the other hand...

From a production and presentation standpoint, the SD full color term brochure seems pretty nice. Would anyone be surprised if the StD Term Sheet looked like some high school senior class project?

OHS Grad Kevin Faulconer with the high favorability ratings! I'm not anticipating that StD's term sheet is going to reflect high favorability for Slay -- sure, it might, but being in charge of murder capital USA probably isn't a way to sell a personality.

So San Diego's plan is in Mission Valley. Chargers want the Convadium. The league would have to go against the teams ultimate desire. How likey will they do that to 2 teams?
I sure as hell hope they really like Inglewood. Rams are in this 3 against 1.

That's the term sheet that was turned in prior to the meeting in August. Not sure who said it but the term sheet that was just turned in for the fall meeting was for downtown.

Didnt Dick84 say downtown aint gonna happen? Is Spanos negotiating in good faith if he wants a site that he knows cannot happen? From what I remember from visiting SD one time, there isnt much real estate available there without major infrastructure changes
