Ugh.honestly, now that many streaming services (hulu, youtube, etc.) offer local tv channels, i can't think of any reason to put up with satellite or cable tv? by St. Loser Fan 5 years 6 months ago Total posts: 10893 Joined: May 31 2016 Saint Louis MO Hall of Fame The Future of the NFL on TV.... I do expect one day that the NFL will eventually be off of cable TV. That if we want to see the games, especially local games, either you will have to go to them, or have to spend money to some service channel through the NFL, and we get all the games, including the local games, playoff games, including going up to the Super Bowl. That will be the eventual future. by St. Loser Fan 5 years 6 months ago Total posts: 10893 Joined: May 31 2016 Saint Louis MO Hall of Fame The Future of the NFL on TV.... Then again the NFL is mostly run by men in the 60 to 80 year old range. I doubt that even with a mountain of money, they would want to leave the familiarity of the broadcast networks.
