Elvis wrote:And, as always, if you don't have your own avatar, think about choosing one...

yep, very easy to do, and very worthwhile imo.... here are the simple steps:

click "dashboard":

click "my panel":

a02.jpg

click "profile":

a03.jpg

click "edit avatar":

a04.jpg

click the "avatar options" dropdown menu.

a05.jpg

at this point you can:

1. choose your gravatar as your avatar (if you don't know what that means, just do a quick google search on the subject).

2. choose an avatar from the rfu avatar gallery, tons of great avatars available, all pre-sized and ready to go - this is the recommended option for those not ready to explore the other options.

3. choose an avatar image that you have stored at an oline site such as photobucket, just type in the url - NOTE: image can't be larger than 225 x 225 pixels... for best results make sure your image is a perfect square, i.e. crop your image if necessary so that it's a perfect square, if not the system will stretch it to fit which can make the image look funky!

4. upload an avatar from your computer or device. NOTE: image can't be larger than 225 x 225 pixels... for best results make sure your image is a perfect square, i.e. crop your image if necessary so that it's a perfect square, if not the system will stretch it to fit which can make the image look funky!

here's a look at what you will see if you choose "gallery avatar", a ton of ready to go avatars, just pick one, hit submit and, presto, you will have that avatar!

Don't pick on other posters.

Some posters are contentious to others.

I've ignored the entire topic, until it became something where this particular poster seemed contentious and arguing. I never said a word about this all of the time before.

I also absolutely checked and made sure my post was friendly enough abut the avi. I was nice.

Rams the Legends live on wrote:I don't mind the strategy Canuck of trading our highest pick off for more picks over all in lower rounds. I just don't like it for this year. While I admittedly have said I hold reservations and am some what tentative about McVay. Feeling like that has in no way however hampered my excitement to maybe see what we have post Fish.

I myself would like to just sit still with what we have and pick when our turn. Reason being for one is I would like McVay and company to come in and see a full year of play on the field and see if they can't coach our guys up or see who will fit their program before we play the numbers game in picks. I would not even mind if we did the opposite and traded a couple or three of our picks for one higher one in a round.

So this year I am really not bothered if we do the opposite and trade some of ours for a person at a spot the new staff feels they can grab a guy who will make a splash.

For now and this year though I am hoping they will just play the hand dealt and get to know the players their strengths and weakness and see who fits in their grand plan who can be sufficient and who needs to be replaced in their scheme. Have a full year of real time observance on the field, at practices, and in the locker room. As well as most importantly have a full year to coach our guys. Then go into year two armed with knowledge and build a good solid draft strategy with the factor of knowing.

Whatever we decide to do in the draft my only true hope though is it produces more wins this season or produces sight seen evidence that wins will for sure be coming down the road for our team.

I want to quote the adorable and loved (well I love his posts) Legend. He posts in a way that is at first hard to read, but then you read his posts and they are great.

I take the time to read what he is saying, because he normally has something to say and I gain from it.

As I said earlier, if you don't like the way someone posts (as in my point of not being able to get past the stupid middle name thing and someone trying to be so clever it's silly), then it is fair to not read their posts.

I don't think that is picking on a poster. It's just simply a fact of not being able to read their posts because of their decision to make their posts unreadable to some.

...and then there are some posters, where you just know patently & indubitably, that if you met them in real life, that pretty soon you'd find yourself in front of a judge, filing for a Restraining Order.

I haven't met a single poster on here in person yet that I would think that even a possibility. And, I've met a lot of them. We are all pretty nice and friendly, and everyone I've met in person is awesome. I adore them.

Maybe you have that experience in your life.

Perhaps we can now call you Canuck "I don't want to have to get a restraining order" Right Winger.

btw, @CanuckRightWinger - my comments are my honest assessment of the style you make a conscious choice to post with. It's not a personal attack, I just don't enjoy reading it.

I think you are a great Rams fan and have a lot to say - your decision on how you say it is all yours. You are also open to critique on that choice of yours.

Keep on, many love it. And those of us who don't, will just miss what you have to say. All good.

loves.

This is painful....
When 2 of my favorite posters are going at it, it really bums me out.
We're all friends here lads, can we let this one go?
