Game 1 coming up...Fisher, babe, now is the time, year 5, produce this squad into winners.I admire your ability to remain optimistic. I wish I were able to do so myself.I'm just in the camp that thinks Fisher has lost it - if he ever had it to begin with. I normally put zero stock in the results from the preseason. In fact, I still think it's meaningless. But it's just hard to imagine him fielding even an average NFL offense. His apparent philosophy just works against it. I have no idea how good Goff is. I just know that he would be much further along with a different group of coaches. I think I said this exact same thing last year right before the season started: Maybe the Rams win a bunch of games by playing really good defense and special teams. I doubt it though. He's just not ready at this point in time, doesn't mean they will bench him the entire season. The problem that bears repeating is how there can be an expectation that he will be more "ready" later on when his practice and snaps will be reduced and he wont have any game time PT to work withA couple of bad games and/or an injury and he's getting thrown in there, ready or not.Just been set up to fail from the jump by Elvis 8 years 10 months ago Total posts: 41515 Joined: Mar 28 2015 Los Angeles Administrator Re: Goff needs an offseason away from Fisher POST #50 Will0120 wrote:It would appear that his life as a Rams fan had "died" along with the move...
