I missed week 1. I'm not sure what happened as I made my picks but I don't think I was in the group correctly. Either way, it really doesn't matter as I suck at this evidently.

I'm much better at straight up weighted picks then the spread. It kills me every time as well as being a Ram homer. I will keep trying and maybe improve but it's not looking good so far.

I just realized today when I looked why we put that number in for the Monday night game score. Guess I should think about it rather than always put in 48.

That number really is only used in a last case tie breaker. Since our game goes till the superbowl I'm not sure how relevant that really is other than being able to claim the tie breaker in a given week. It doesn't actually award you an extra point but will give you the status as the weekly champion if you are closer to the number given a tie. I believe if our game ended on on the the regular season MNF night and players were deadlocked, it would default to the total score.

exactly or at the end of each week it names a weekly leader. So even though you may be tied in points if you win the MNF total you to be named "official weekly leader". So it can't hurt. It can only help. Although, its really just a status bump.
