If that's the damned attitude of the St Louis fan base they don't deserve a team. I know that's not how most of them think but you see this crap too often on Rams sites. We'll only support the team if they win! Then you don't deserve them and as they're not winning right now don't complain that they might move.

I know how you feel. You saw may day over at ROD. I had the nerve to question the Holly Grail of the masses by questioning that St Louis was way ahead of SD.

It looks like I closed that discussion up for you hehe

Thanks, I appreciate it

It was also good to see RamFan503 call out some of the comments from the pro St Louis group.

I must say that the 2 of you should be given 'the medal for patients' in that tread. Your calm resolve through all of that is remarkable. I cut out 40 pages ago as it became clear that these guys are going to make their points (or your counterpoint) right up until the Rams leave. I get pissy even reading that thread. So props to you and know that as I read every well though out rebuttal word both of you (and BC), I read it with fist pumps and a smirk of approval.

You got to suck it up guys. I know where you're coming from. Look at the responses I got with my "Ethics" post. I was told everything I said wasn't true. they are going to twist everything to fit their way of thinking and nothing short of the moving vans leaving St. Louis is going to change their minds, And that will be the end of being Rams Fans for them. Losing season and leaving St. Louis? just too much to continue being a Ram Fan for them. I (we) may be wrong, but it sure looks like the wind is blowing towards LA. I'll be over there at ROD to apologize if I'm wrong, and I'll damn sure be over there to gloat when the moving vans start rolling. Call it childish, but right now I feel some of em have it coming, (my 93 year old mother still keeps telling me to "grow up").

The problem I have with the St Louis narrative is that they run with talking points from Peacock and then promoted by Bernie but have no basis in reality. I gave them a few that bug me about some LA supporters just so I didn't have to spend the time go back and forth. Unfortunately, I have the ability to argue a point even if I don't agree with it.

Here are the main 2
That no other city has built 2 stadiums in 20 years now the number is 25. There are 3 Seattle, Indy and Atlanta.

That the NFL would never turn down public money or that they have never left a city with a stadium deal on the table. In almost every relocation in the past 30 years, the cities have had public money on the table but it wasn't enough for the team to stay. On the Stadium, Anaheim had a proposal for a new football stadium, they had both public money and the corporate support to get it financed. The other is Cleveland. The stadium just didn't come out of thin air during the negations. It had been in the works but was finalized when the NFL got involved. The Browns became the Ravens because even with a new stadium Cleveland couldn't match the deal in Baltimore.

Those are 2 of their main arguments (besides ethics lol) and as you stated there is precedent set in both cases. They have on law in which they hold 9/10ths and that is possession. If not for the Charaiders I believe this was a slam dunk.
You should have been an attorney (if you aren't one). A professional arguer,, you're good at it,, and you do your research.

The hard part is over. The waiting period from January to the owners meetings in August was stressful to some degree and brutal. Once the games begins, time will fly and will get a decision soon. In about 4-5 months we won't deal with STL anymore. Patience my son, patience.

I'm pretty sure i remember after SB XXXVI Bernie wrote a column about how the Patriots winning the SB after 9/11 was a great story though no one in St. Louis would be able to appreciate it.

I'm looking forward to his column about how the Rams righting a wrong and returning to L.A. is a great story for the NFL though those in St. Louis might not be able to appreciate it...

I am in sales. I hated traveling so I became a Public Adjuster representing homeowners with their insurance claim negotiations with the insurance company. I am not an attorney but I build cases for the negotiations and then in some cases arbitration. If that fails then I send them over to the attorney.

Keep up the good fight over there, guys!

Oh, and not to get too political, it's almost like some of the people over there are a new strain of flat-earthers, truthers, or birthers. (No offense to those of you who believe we live on a flat Earth, that 9/11 was a conspiracy, or that Obama was born in Kenya).
