Sure, he has "warts" they all do. John Gruden sure likes him and he knows more than we do about evaluating QBs, one would think. I like him, he has a very nice release and makes some impressive throws. He makes some bad decisions from time to time of course and the accuracy issue is concerning but is probably related to footwork and needing to really hone his mechanics - both of which will be worked on intensely in the pros.

With all due respect to the QB's that Gruden has liked in the past but he likes every QB that comes through his little camp. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't see anything in Cook that we don't already have in Foles, Keenum and Mannion and I don't see anything that he offers above and beyond what we already have to make me want him. We're better off not spending a pick on him or another QB and just adding weapons on the offense.

Well he was a dream come true for Spartan fans the last 3 years.

Tim Tebow was a dream come true for Gator fans too, how'd that work out in the NFL?

The difference is a lot of people didn't think Tebows game could translate to the NFL.

With Cook, most think low 1st high 2nd because his game translates to the NFL.

If your going to compare Tebow to Cook then I don't know what to tell you.

I cannot believe that some guys here actually entertain the idea of Sam CapeDisappointment Bradford coming back to quarterback the 2016 Los Ramos???!! I am in Agape Status with ahgastment!! This ranks up there with the your POTUS's calling ISIS " a JV team" whilst the US-trained Iraqi Army ran from Mosul like schoolgirls, and left all that US military hardware for ISIS to cruise around in!!! :(  I am in disbelief!! :o

Like how many years of random sampling does it take guys' eyeballs to conclude that Sammy just ain't got it, huh??!!! :!:

Sam TheOklahomaCarpetbagger Bradford has GOT to be the most overpaid QB in NFL history on a Dollar Per Point Scored basis!!  :!: I ASK YOU...WHAT NFL QB GOT PAID MORE MONEY, FOR LESS PRODUCTION, OVER A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME, THAN SAM TheDud BRADFORD, HUH??!! NAME ONE!!! ANYBODY??!!

The guy got paid gazillions of greenbacks, missed half of his eligible games with the Rams, and engineered paltry few TD drives!! That's the evidence folks.....BUT
apologists will say,
"yes, but he had to learn a new system when Pat Shurmer left...have you factored that in?"

Sam stunk as our QB. Period. Full Stop. His overall stats with his anemic YPA annual number, the poor PPG production, all those fooking injuries, the leadership skills of Barney Fife......and guys ACTUALLY want the Tulsa Sunflower Seed-Muncher back as the face of our storied Franchise!!!???

I'd rather stick pins in my eyes!!!

Anyway enough about that Sooner Swooner....on to the Draft scenarios....

I have advocated a trade up to #15 from Denver to allow John Elway to tab Paxton Lynch, his younger, cheaper Brock Osweiler clone. The Rams get a plethora of Denver draft picks and go to town to buy new groceries in the WR, OC, CB, TE sections....oh yeah, and they also grab a Connor WronglyMaligned Cook or Christian LateBloomer Hackenburg to groom for 2017.....just like they would've had to sit Paxton Lynch for 2016!!! Duh!

The only good thing Sam Bradford ever accomplished for all those millions that Stan Kroenke kept snowblowing into his Tulsa bank account was this....

SB lasted long enough in Philly for us to qualify for that Second Rounder Les ShrewdLikeKlosterman Snead purloined from Chip NotSoSharp! Kelly in last year's Foles trade.
That's it!

All these guys have question marks just like Derek Carr and Bridgewater. I remember the accuracy concerns with Teddy. How that work?

If fans want to wait for the next Andrew Luck then good luck.

I don't think you answered the question of why Cook would be any better than Mannion or Kennum or even Foles. I agree with the idea of giving Mannion a chance before spending 1 of only 6 picks this year on another hope and prayer.

We seen what Foles could do. We will see what Mannion could do. Same with Cook

We know what Cook did in college compared to Foles and Mannion in college. That's all we could go by.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. My eyes tell me what I need to know. I could be wrong, we have to wait and see.

Perhaps this guy Canuck.. he didn't last as long though.

CONTRACT:6 yr(s) / $13,200,000 , , SIGNING BONUS , , $11,250,000 , , AVERAGE SALARY $2,200,000 , , GUARANTEED:$13,200,000

But then again, this is not a flattering comparison by any stretch.

Foles and Mannion put up just as good, or better numbers as Cook in college so I'm not sure what you mean there.
