I remember last year's 3-6 start. This year's 1-4 start. Gloom and doom is expected from fans. Most times teams don't come back from that. But these Rams are different. Sean McVay deserves coach of the year but he won't get it. I'm just glad he's gotten over the phase he was in during the 2022 season when everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Now he has that fire in his gut again. He's going nowhere.

Give Shula credit. And give the Rams brass credit for recognizing rookie talent. And coaches for developing that talent. This is an extremely young defense. You could understand if it took a season or two to develop. But here they are. 9 points or less in the last 4 meaningful games.

I don't know what's gonna happen in Philly. That's a tall order. But whatever happens the future is bright for this young defense. Imagine how good it can be with a couple high caliber corners?

Rumor has it that Jalen Ramsey is on the "I want out of Miami" bandwagon.

One change or modification we have seen from McVay (and echoed by Kupp etc). Is process over results. Meaning work hard, do what you can do to prepare to your best and let it rip. Do what you can control and the wins will come.

I think this served them well the last two season where for various reasons the wins werent coming but they stayed the course! I think this a much healthier way for McVay to approach it mentally and it shows.

I'd be good with that as long as it won't cost a high pick. He's 30 and still has enough in the tank for a couple more years. We could use a quality lock down corner.

Ramsey’s not gonna bank that 80 mil unless he sticks around in Miami ‘cause he ain’t gonna make that here

Thing is that he already got a lot of it in signing and restructure bonuses. And the cap charge for those stays with the Dolphins if traded. If my math is right (questionable) contract with the Rams would carry these approximate cap charges: 2025 - $10M, 2026 - $18M, 2027 - $31M. So two years and then you dump him.

Not really advocating this, just the saw the rumor and Ramsey was one of my favorite Rams.
