LT A. Jackson
LG Avila
C Limmer
RG J. Jackson
RT McClendon/Noteboom

That's about as good as the OL will have looked except for the start of game one. I think McClendon starts with Noteboom at swing. Joe is their backup at both LT and RT so he's more valuable in that position. If McClendon struggles they can put Joe in. I would like to see J. Jack start at RG as it would allow him to work back into a starting rhythm if they are going to eventually start him at center.

McClendon's issues are in pass protection. With J Jack and Warren on the right side they can run anywhere across the OL front. J. Jack is an OG, Limmer is really just a center. This would leave them with Noteboom, Dedich and Bruss as their gameday backup swings which isn't a bad 3 to have.

They are going to need balance between run and pass in this game. It will stress the best part of the Fin's defense which is their secondary.

Even if Hill plays but is limited in his snaps that would be huge for the Rams. Hill + Waddle would be challenging. Hill stresses a secondary like Kupp does for the Rams, so even limiting his snap muchless him not playing would have a similar affect for the Fins.

The key to winning would be for the offense to start fast. They have to bury the Dolphins early and not allow them to hang around.

K Dot is playing. I’d be surprised if not. They are managing him and his injury. Have been for a while.

Man Goff playing like Goof today. Funny how his play deteriorated when under pressure. “But your our QB Jared”

You could tell by how they were unable to run the ball that the OL was believing their own press and took Houston lightly. It happens, and the Rams fall prey to that more than we care to know. This team has a history of playing down to the level of the competition. It's still happening.

My issue with Dotson is that he's been playing hurt all season basically and it shows. Limmer is playing well. By playing Avila as LG and J. Jack at RG they can give Dotson an extra week of rest. Jackson at OG is a decent run blocker, and probably better than a dinged up Dotson. Kevin deserves a chance to heal up as there is a whole lot of football left to play. The Rams need a solid run game to win this game and IMO it simply makes sense to play your healthiest guys.

If I was a DC and saw a dinged up Dotson playing with Avila at LG guess who I would be targeting. If they are playing Avila because he's far better in the run attack why not do the same on the right side. With McClendon (another backup) at RT a dinged Dotson and a backup RT will put a big target on that right side.

As of this morning, we have 52 on the roster.

Both JJ and Avila will be activated.

So which lineman will get cut,

McMahon/C/298lbs or Bruss/G/317lb?

My money is on McMahon/C getting cut!

Solid bet.

Spread opened at Rams -2.5, got as low as Rams -1, now back to 2.5.

If the Rams defense can hold up against their offense, Rams got a great chance to win this one.

It looks like a shootout so will probably end up being 9-6 or something...

We owe the Dolphins for years of beatdowns.

Rams defense definitely going to be challenged. Big game for our LB’s need pass rush and cover the crosses in pass defense.

I hope we slow the game down and run it a ton with our big boys back. Keep the ball away from Miami and play physical. I bet McVay comes out passing than goes to the run.

There was that game in St. Louis where Miami's defense was really good and talking smack going into the game but the GSOT ran them out of the building, 2000?

Of course i also remember sitting in the rain at the Coliseum in 2016, Rams were winning a miserable low scoring game until it stopped raining, Miami's offense got going and that was that.

Ah, the Jeff Fisher days: If you needed some offense to win, you lost.
