“Stay off the ticks” and my fave - coverage was “heavy sticks”. Meaning the secondary was guarding the first down line to gain hard. Just really cool to hear him break down the nuance of a play.

The vibe isn't the best for this first game. OL injuries, Puka who knows how his knee will affect him, trading Jones, Stafford's hammy, etc.

Just feels like the Lions are the young coming on strong team, and we're the old dogs.

Playing at their place will be very tough. Let McVay prove me wrong, but I don't see us winning this game.

I know it is cliche city but I really feel the key is how well they start. Yoked up team and crowds, opening game, hated opponent in the Rams. They just need to ride out the first few drives and let the game settle in and take it from there.
