I have no idea what the Rams think about Wentz but i don't see much indication that they really like him either. McVay is tied at the hip to Stafford yet he didn't even call the plays when Wentz started. Is there a connection there?

I think that is too bad if the Rams arent as it takes time for a QB to learn the system. I dont see why anyone would throw lots of money at Wentz based on last year. I hope he stays for a modest contract and can again be a viable backup if needed (which with Stafford is going to happen most likely.) Also with Wentz there is that chance he can be your starter after Stafford, not big, but there is that chance...

Do you get the feeling it's all on the Rams? What I mean is "interest". I would think he sees the writing on the wall. Nobody called him all season and there were a ton of QB injuries. Who's going to offer him a starting job? Probably nobody. Why wouldn't you want to stick around McVay? Stafford could get injured or retire and if you know the system....2-3 years backing him up, there's your chance at a ring and redemption. Plus the job ain't too shabby.....hold a clipboard, run the scout team, watch a great football team on Sunday's and win.

Affordable 1 year deal? Sure. The $$ has to be very Rams friendly. I don’t think they want a rental if they sign a FA. But, it depends on who they like and can get at edge in the draft.
