Everyone can admit it now out loud, the team is home and where they belong. Stoked!

snack, that dude Gray has really lost his professionalism and perspective. I will admit that blowing StL off the way Grubman did (on the radio with Bernie) and the ultimate slam dunk vote. And while offering SD and OAK $100M to stay put and publicly deny StL basically the same thing, was certainly enough motive to fuel their contempt.
I'm not sure how I would react in the same situation. When they left for StL I remember being rather testy about it.
BUT, I am not trying to be the 'go to' voice of reason over the internet air waves with many following my lead.
He needs to maintain a professional decorum unless he's trying to be a 'shock twitter jock'. That 'letter' was just that, shockingly non-pro and miserably simple minded while admitting that he/they couldn't see what was right in front of their faces all along.

Shane was better but over the last 9 months his whining and flat out misrepresentation of the facts showed that he's no better than any of the PD posters. He can be testy but he needs to lay blame on their own public officials not Kroenke or the NFL. Besides the fact that they gave the team the legal right to relocate, they also ignored the NFL thought the process. Goodell told Nixon to announce the task force to gain public support but Nixon waited a year. Grubman told them that PSL and naming rights belong to the owner and if they're used for the stadium it reduces the owners contribution. The same thing for G4 and money from the NFL. STL decided to use the extra $100 mil to offset the city's contribution not the owners so it's no where near the same thing. The NFL wanted the term sheet in August but the task force waited 2 months. The NFL told them that the bill that the Alderman were voting on wasn't viable but they went ahead and passed it anyways. The NFL gave the city every opportunity including another 9 months but they couldn't get they act together to produce an viable proposal.

Even after it's over the St Louis media is continuing with the misinformation campaign! I read a Q&A from JT today and he cited the riverfront stadium would only have cost Stan $250 million. These clowns just don't care they're gonna lie to and try to manipulate as many people as they can on the way down with the sinking ship.

And they continue to say it is. Let's not forget adding the $110M to that very tardy term sheet, while circumventing votes, planting judges, threatening eminent domain, fudging the attendance numbers,, etc..
The whole process was pretty enlightening. But for some, it's easier to cast blame and to extinguish the anguish with anger. Reminds me of 'that sign post up ahead'... You know the one.

The list can go on forever. The whole process reminded me of Minneapolis's first application for a SB. The NFL gave them a list of requirements but they ignored it an came up with their own plan. It was rejected and they came back with one that included everything the NFL wanted.

Not to be rude Hacksaw, just to clarify. The NFL has not offered OAK and SD $100M, they offered Davis and Spanos the money. I am sure if Stan had decided to stay in STL he would have gotten the offer as well.

The money is for the owners not the cities.

Not rude, you are correct, the way I put it was incorrect. Yes, the offer was for the teams.
My point was more about what Gray and his contemporaries might be getting ticked about and how silly he sounds as their voice of reason.

Yeah I read that chat too, JT also stated, it would have been better if ESK and the NFL just stated unless you come up with a virtual state of the art stadium in every shape, way or form, we're gone...Well, isn't that what they did say Jim? IMO, it was very clear what ESK's intentions were and you needed to come with a top tier stadium because that is what he wanted to build in Inglewood not a carbon copy of 3 rivers stadium in Pittsburgh or Riverfront Stadium in Cincinnati.

Shane got under my skin when he posted early on a piece talking about the Carson site like he "knew" what was going on there, how the remediation was no big deal ,blah, blah, blah. I PM'ed him telling him I live just blocks from the site and what I knew from the inside of city hall more than what the media was putting out. I asked him where he was getting his info about Carson. Of course I never heard from him.
