If the public noise for real grass grows loud enough. SOFI will adapt to it. However, grass will die in SOFI without grow lights. So, for FIFA, they will roll out grow lights daily. Lights are not very environmentally sustainable (use quite a bit of electricity.). However, if the demand and desire is there. They'll do it.

Finally, SOFI does not have the capability to roll out an intact grass field. So, every time they remove the grass (for concerts or other events that would destroy the it) they need to fully replace the turf. Again, not very sustainable.

Plus i'm not sure how much sense it makes in a stadium with 2 home teams, that's a lot of games.

But if the NFL decides they want to play on grass exclusively i'm sure they can make it happen...
