I'm sure for those who can't afford to get in,

will be tailgating at the stadium bringing their TVs screens.

I'm sure there will be plenty of RAMs Jersey outside the stadium.

I wonder why SB lottery winners wouldn't claim the tickets given the chance? Even if they can't go, they would have an endless supply of friends that would jump at the chance.

Elvis - where did you hear the news about a 2nd chance lottery? I hope they have more than just a couple of pairs available.

I think people turn them down because they cost so much and they say you can't sell them. I'm not sure exactly how they prevent it but I imagine there's software that blocks you from transferring the tickets.

FYI - I got an email from the Rams this morning saying that I was selected to be able to purchase two Super Bowl tickets. They are in the 400s and near midfield. Much better seats than I would expect - and, in fact, better than my season tickets.

So now my friend and I have to decide whether or not spend $2,500 each to go. It's a whole lot of money for a sporting event but also a once in a lifetime opportunity for those of us who live in LA and are huge Rams fans.

@Gareth , you can't take it with you and this is a once in a lifetime chance to see your favorite team play in their house right in your backyard. If you can afford it I doubt you will ever regret it.
LMK if you need company.. ;)

I was told by some other people that got selected to the Atlanta Super Bowl that they are physical tickets and it doesn't allow you to list them on ticket sites (they won't take the barcode or the tickets don't have a barcode you can read). But they did said they tried to sell them and the Rams called them to take down the listing, not sure how they were able to list or how the Rams found out. Anyways.... man! If you don't want them I WILL TAKE THEM, I will pay extra...

My season ticket rep said the SB34 lottery winner purchase rate was less than 50%. But that's when the Super Bowl where they were also forecasting 2 inches of ice for Atlanta and they barely added flights.

I tend to agree with you. I think the only way I would regret is if the Rams lose. On the other hand, if we win and I don't go - I'd probably regret that.

Yeah, that is what they said.. They wanted to go but they couldn't find hotels or flights that weren't outrageous.. and like you said the weather.
