I was afraid that they might do this, but honestly, that's the wrong move. Change the unis now. The splash to the new stadium in Inglewood will be big enough on its own.

But if they do decide to stick with the current unis, at the very least, bring back the gold pants.

Edit: So I've been thinking about this, and here's what I think they should do. Go back to the old royal blue/canary yellow uniform with the horns on the sleeves now. That's the one L.A. fans identify with the most and the change would be welcomed immediately. Use those for 3 years in the Coliseum, and then change to whatever new design they come up with for the new stadium. I know this won't happen, since the league seems so reluctant to accept uniform changes quickly, but I'd like to see this.

Welcome aboard Rams74.

I'm not sure how much flexibility the league gives a team when it comes to changing uniforms...

Not much flexibility at all, I think. Don't know why they're so rigid. The NBA seems to have a lot more flexibility, as does MLB. The D-backs have about 73 different uniforms now, I think. Keep 'em guessing.

Thanks for the welcome. I joined a while ago, but I've been mostly hanging out at RamStalk.

It is for the merchandise sales in NFL shop. Helps them keep inventory under control. However this is rare and unique because the merchandise is worthless now since it has ST.Louis on it. There has to be LA Rams stuff hitting stores pretty soon.

I'd be for that. Ties a lot to late 50s early 60s.

Just PLEASE no black. No trendy designs. Classic is what we need.

Steelers, Packers, Cowboys, Bears, Raiders, Chiefs, Giants, Vikings have all stayed with their long standing designs with minor changes.

Heck, Jets even got smart and went back to uni/helmet of 60s.

When he mentioned the term 'marketing to millennials' I got nervous.

I did not but it makes perfect sense. You have the unveiling of new stadium/unis at same time. Greater impact.

Thanks for the welcome. It'd be wise to start out with the new color's/ uniform this upcoming season. New fans will be buying gear and it'd be wrong to make their stuff obsolete in a couple years. New (old) city, new start= new colors/uniforms.

I hear the RAMS are removing the horns off the helmet, or not.

Hey Tom thank you a bunch. I think we better lay off the political threads and we'll let Elvis see that we're Rams fans first, before whistleblowers on the corruption that's especially been so present since 2008.

Went back and listened to Demoff's answer again on Plaschke/Zelasko. He said when they go to Inglewood there would be a complete overhaul of the uniforms and might go to the the blue and whites as throwbacks at that time.

He mentioned that it takes two years to get uniform changes done in the NFL. Maybe the two years are up this year but he sure made it sound like they aren't doing anything now.
