I've wondered about that. It's an easy connection to consider but I think it's also worth noting that Bradford had his best game as an Eagle the week that Kelly was gone.

I think the Eagles would be wise to retain Shurmur and tweak things rather than blow it all up. But, what do I know?

I really can't imagine York and Kelly co-existing though. 49ers were stupid to get rid of Harbaugh and illustrated that their petty insecurities are more important than winning football games.

That makes sense but I wonder just how much the league has caught up to the read/option, scramble drill, deep pass offense? It seems that that type of thing has vanished and I can't imagine every QB running it just stopped being effective.

CK's accuracy would be an issue in Kelly's offense IMO, not to mention his decision making. His running ability might counteract those deficiencies but I have my doubts.

Its also worth noting that the Giants defense was the worst he played all year, they couldnt stop anybody.
I wonder who the mastermind of that defense is??????

**Not knocking Bradford, he played great. Knocking the idea that he played better because Kelly wasnt around....
