steelers are 4-4, three of their losses came against the:

the 8-0 niners - lost by 4 points
the 7-2 seahawks - lost by 2 points
the 6-2 ravens - lost by 3 points in overtime

interestingly, the steelers won the turnover battle in these three losses, including losing to the niners despite 5 takeaways and a +3 turnover margin... the steelers are also second only to the pats in takeaways, they've taken the ball away almost twice as often as the rams (22 vs 12), as follows:

game 1 - @ neg - 0
game 2 - vs sea - 2
game 3 - @ sfo - 5
game 4 - vs cin - 2
game 5 - vs bal - 3
game 6 - @ lac - 3
game 7 - vs mia - 4
game 8 - vs ind - 3

Wow, 4 and 5 takeaway games? Goff better sharpen his eyes and the Rams best over practice the strip drills....

Looks like they've been competitive after the game 1 blowout. But I have a feeling if you limit the turnovers they won't be. If you look at their forums, a major complaint is Mason Rudolph doesn't throw down field. Everything is underneath. I gotta think the coaches don't trust him enough to let him throw deeper. Basically trying to protect a rookie from mistakes.
