I can't help but wonder why you have more than once refused to answer a direct question? You're quick to criticize and chastise others but then won't make any statement of your own. It seems with your strong opinions and stat research you should be able to easily label where Jared Goff should rank.

I mean, the writer of the article did it. I did it. Right or wrong, at least we have an opinion we stand behind. Refusing to answer the question is a bad look. Oh well. You do you.

And, to use your logic, Jameis Winston and Brock Osweiler are on those lists right near Goff so just how relevant can the lists be?

good grief dude, you've asked me this before and i've answered - again, i think goff is a top tier qb, not second tier, not 3rd tier, and not a jeff garcia... in other news bradford was stud ncaa qb and a below average nfl qb when healthy.

and because dilfer won a super bowl ring how relevant can a list of super bowl winning qbs be, right?

I don't recall you ever saying that Goff was elite but I might have missed it. Makes me wonder what you consider elite though since the numbers don't really support the idea of Goff being considered in the top 3-5 QB's.

As far as relevance, you're the one who keeps bringing up the Rams record to illustrate that Goff is elite. Seems disingenuous. They have individual stats for a reason so bringing up team records and team scoring is irrelevant. And you know that.

8th in passer rating, 20th in completion %, TD's 7th, TD% 10th, Int % 15th.

2nd tier, not elite.

this from a guy who, when he evaluates nfl qbs, comes away thinking bradford was a stud.

2017-2018:
4th in yards per pass attempt, 6th in qb rating, 7th in td%, 2 pro bowls, 2 postseasons, super bowl = top tier.

It's sad that you have to resort to being a pathetic liar.

Top 10 doesn't equal elite. Top 5 at worst, more like top 3. Goff's numbers are neither.

For much of the regular season the Rams D played like dog shit and they were carried by the offense and STs. Both the stats and eyeball test showed that.

It’s hard to analyze dog shit and try to convince someone it doesn’t stink without looking ridiculous. A1 doesn’t go down that path.

What he does is make the argument that a Big Mac is one of the best meals you’ll ever have.

Goff isn’t dog shit, but he’s a lot closer to a Big Mac than a steak at Peter Lugers.

Right now, Goff is not an elite QB. He has deficiencies that keep him out of that top tier category. That is a viewpoint that is shared by every reasonable QB evaluator.

My hope, like every reasonable loyal Rams fan, is that Goff improves to be elite. But he’s not there right now.

and even more feel-goodery (2017-2018) - qb rating by down (min 400 pass attempts for all 3 downs combined):
