AND a huge game changer was when the Rams won and got everyone to be allowed to wear their alternitive unis 5 times a year. Only 8 home games a year anyway plus a possible color rush.... so it’s possible the “new” uniforms are worn less than the Blue and Yellows if they go that route. So less pressure as I don’t feel so locked in anymore. Of course they could totally screw up the primary and alternatives. Now that would be a disaster.

I'm pretty sure the Rams are gonna be all in with the new primaries, whatever they are, and won't wearing throwbacks (whatever they are) more than twice.

Possible. But that's my point. They will have the CHOICE on what to wear. If it is a luke warm reception and they push but everyone keeps buying the throwbacks, $ talks, they can wear those more often.

Something tells me that the old uniform rules will go back in place once the Rams have their new unis in place. I don't think there will be very many choices open. They'll be allowed 2 throwback games a year, and 1 color rush. The rest will be in primary home/away.

I hear you but they've been planning this for 4 years. I really think they're gonna be all in, certainly at first.

Color me amped up to see the new digs....both uniforms and stadium. Of course I won't see Sofi in person anytime soon but that's fine. Eventually.

What I didn't realize is the LA Coliseum is the oldest NFL stadium (1923). Soldier Field now becomes the oldest (1924), followed by Lambeau (1957), Arrowhead (1972), New Era Field (1973) and the Superdome (1975). The Oakland Coliseum was the 4th oldest (1966) but now it's done.

I was wondering if any team won the Championship the year their new stadium opened and the answer is "no". The only to make it to the Superbowl (or NFL Championship Game) their first season in a new stadium is the Tennessee Titans in 1999. So, the Rams will be the first!!!

If that is the case, me too. I'm not a Socal guy. More like Norcal. So I won't be a season ticket holder. But a big reason I wanted them back in LA is because that is where my Rams roots are. More for nostalgic reasons.

Those royal blue and yellow unis are a part of that nostalgia. Heck, I decided I like historic jerseys with players that were long time Rams heroes. I'd hate to buy a current one only to have the guy with another team in a couple years. I picked up a Jack Youngblood jersey last month. I want to stock my closet with jerseys like Roman Gabriel and Merlin Olsen. I also have a Dickerson jersey. But whatever happens with that, I'm still excited for our Los Angeles Rams.

The Waterfields' weren't even navy. Gabriel's =Royale, Ferragamos = Royale. Why change?

Hopefully Elvis is on to something regarding a possible distraction ploy. Not sure why though. Perhaps the speculative release of the colors was to feel the pulse through our reactions. So if that's the case and with that in mind, I'm against that kind of change all together..

I wouldnt have a problem with darker blue, never ever understood why the uniforms didnt match the helmet. Always came off low budget to me. Im a big CAL fan so the unis looking like below wouldnt bug me.
