Your silly comment aside, this is 100% playing to the crowd or, at least, a particular crowd that wants to see these emails get released, not because they truly believe it will help the victims or future victims, but for the pure pleasure of having access to salacious materials that will knock a bunch of rich old men off their pedestals.

That's all well and good but, as I stated, the ability to negotiate confidential settlements is essential to providing remedies for average people. I, for one, don't want the government interfering with agreements of that type.
