So within 15 minutes of the new logo items being released I ordered the new Rams head logo cap and one of the LA logo tshirts. Both said they were in stock at the time, and the order went through successfully. Said I’d get my items on April 24th.

All of the sudden today I get an email from the team shop today saying my order has been cancelled and a refund will be given.
Wth?! I don’t get it at all, I ordered both when they were in stock. Makes zero sense to me.

Yeah man, and I realize there’s more important things to worry about in the world right now but this was something I was looking forward to getting. Anyways here’s their email:

When we're unable to fulfill an order it's usually because the item is no longer available or because it's a custom order in violation of team licensing guidelines.

As much as many of us would hope it's because the Rams changed their minds after all the negative feedback following the new brand drop, , this more than likely has to do with Covid-19 and their staffing / shipping / operational struggles.

If it were related to delays, wouldn't the message to the customer be that your order has been delayed? Why issue a refund, if they really intend to sell this stuff eventually?

I mean, you could be right, but it definitely seems weird.

I just don't get this approach. Why on Earth would you wait until after the draft to release the uniforms? The draft will provide the biggest audience between now and September.
