Yeah between Allbright, Peter Schrager and overall lack of very good defenders it seems the Rams could be leaning on getting a OT due to the depth of high-end talent at the position in this draft.

I am hopeful they could move up in the second round to maybe get one of the top 4 Edge players. Concerned with the drop of talent after that as we know the Rams need help in area as they ranked towards the bottom of the league with AD.

my gut says that top-5 picks this year are worth more than the average top-5 picks normally are.

Nevertheless ... the ole cliché rings a bell: "everything is for sale if the price is right" ... also, dangling one's pick can be a method of vetting the strategy of other teams.

I’m still in the they are trading up for WR/OT camp. If it’s OT, it will be for Alt. And that is gonna be waaaay up. If it’s WR, man, a few guys could be the target. I also think they will move up from their second if one of the top edge or DL guys drop below 20-25 in the first. Another “gut feel” from yours truly. Lol

Latu talking about Rugby being less risky than the NFL for head injuries. It does make a little sense. When I was a teen we used to play some hard hitting tackle football with no protection anywhere. Quite a few injuries. But never a head injury. I'm thinking when there is a helmet protecting the head guys tend to get more reckless. Without it you're not taking risks with the head and neck.

OT reply here; I sometimes watch rugby but don't follow closely. Did see an interview a few years ago where the professional player mentioned there were a few newer changes instituted in how they tackle to lessen the chance of contact to the head/neck.

Maybe get Alt with Raheem's Falcons at 8. But like you said need to probably move up to get a higher tier Edge. 2 more days...
