Its easy to look at the part that has been made public and assert that the WFT got off easy. Perhaps they did. It is also possible, however, that the victims have received substantial confidential settlements. If they did, then they voluntarily made the choice to accept dollars for silence. That is, in fact, how the majority of sexual harassment claims are resolved.

The fans and media may want more, and some will lament the "lack of transparency." In the end, though, the NFL and its franchises are private companies, and they are going to act in their own best interests. Nobody should be surprised when they do.
