Veteran Bonsignore: Rams and Chargers to begin premium club seat sales for new Inglewood stadium POST #331 Done!!!!Wow, after a bunch of technical issues (struggled to get that screen share to work), I got exactly what I was shooting for. Section 409 Row 1... I have to suspect there are a bunch left as it would make little sense for someone to take row 1 further down as I got closest to the middle of the field I could in that price. I didnt ask. However, further proof on how much of an idiot I am, I pre talked to the Mrs. about it and we agreed $3k was our limit. Cool. Somehow we forgot that is PER SEAT!!! Woops. Well, what the hell. Did it anyway. Guess the rational is they are assets and we could always sell them in the future and possibly make money off of them. I'm thinking that it won't because after the solid push from the hardcore fans, sales pace will definitely slow down. Walk up purchasers (those that didn't put deposits down or have Coliseum seats) can still probably get decent seats although perhaps not low rows. It just seems that there's going to be a lot of seats available after this initial sales push. And it's probably much worse on the Chargers side. Veteran Bonsignore: Rams and Chargers to begin premium club seat sales for new Inglewood stadium POST #333 I do not think it would ever have been the intent to have the stadium 100% SSL holders. I would think all the "best" seats would be and probably will be though. I did not ask what wave I was in but know I am relativity high. Not too many row 1s left on either the 400 or 500 level at this point. Think about it, the Coliseum is capped? at 70k. I guess that isnt the case anymore as last game was said to have 72k peeps there. Used to be 65k? At any rate, only Rams fans/brokers would buy a PSL. Not visiting fans. How many visiting fans are at each game? I would have to say 10-30k pending on the team? I still think there are about 40k regularly attending Rams fans at each game. Probably most are season ticket holders. Many will not go to the new stadium due to cost but others will as they hate the Coliseum and/or want to see the "hip" new place. This is all VERY speculative as very little of this or their strategy is shared publicly, but I would bet they will sell around half, 30k, PSLs. Remember, many more suites at the new place so one PSL can hold like 30 people? I think... not sure how that works. Out of my pay grade! At any rate, I hope it fills up now as I have my mine and the fuller the more valuable mine becomes! =)If 5% of above becomes true, I will be happy with myself. The capacity is already lower than what they had for the Vikings game. And I think Packers and other they flex open parts of the Colisseum they don't usually sell. The basic ideal world is that outside of tickets NFL, Rams, and Away team tickets, every seat should be bought and paid for. No single game ticket sales, everything on NFL Marketplace.Maybe playoffs they will use the expanded seating somehow and increase capacity to sell extra tickets - if they can do it without hosing their PSL holders. The Chargers are gonna have a real tough time though. Very curious what their PSLs will cost, because they can't even sell out stub hub and season ticket holders take a bath on their tickets there so they can't even get people to sign up. For example, lets say, like the Chargers, very few PSLs are sold. Then what is the point of the PSL if I can go and just buy basically the same ticket each game and not have to fork over the money for a PSL that probably wont be worth much in the future anyway? That is why, now that I bought a PSL, I hope they have huge demand! In other words, I have paid $6k for the PSL, plus the ticket cost. When I sit down and some guys sit next to me and say they just paid for the tickets below face, it really screws the PSL holders. I think that is one of the big reasons they do NOT let the public see the actual stadium seat map for PSLs. They do not want show their hand on how many are left. For all I know, I just snagged the last good PSL OR I am the only sucker who bought one...I did notice that the PSL says that it gives you the right to this stadium or ANY other stadium in the LA area... sorta vague but.......now that the Clippers may get their own stadium next door, maybe the Chargers can move in with them =) Old San Diego friends you know. I signed up for those tickets and cheapest at my turn was 1200+ per season. Doesnt seem too insane but comparing it to rams at colosseum with cheapest 360. Regardless there is a small fan base for chargers even when it was at SD, most of the stadium was full of opposing team not the local. I have a chance to get front row in the 2k level right now on top of my current tickets i got in 450 row 1. Only thing holding me back is exactly what you brought up. I dont know if the rest of the stadium will sell out in psl’s, if there is a chunk left over then yes we are the suckers. But i feel most upper sections will be taken by the later waves. For those that buy regular tickets have to buy individually at strength of opponent. For example my ticket cost is 36 for a non-season ticket holder against rockies can be $40 but if they play sf giants it cost people $68. And in my section people can only buy the last few rows of each section. So i suspect there will be variable pricing strategies as we get into the first season and other seasons to follow for non-psl. For dodgers you end up paying a butt load of money if you get a mini plan or buy individual ticket price. I typically go to 20 games of 82 and the rest I sell to break even. Then you also get post season rights which you know how much those cost if you dont have season tickets. Went to a couple World Series games last year. Sucks that in the nfl the NFL controls super bowl tickets which is idiotic because the home stadium ticket holders should get the option to buy their tickets and not be put in a lottery of a small percentage of superbowl tickets. I don't know about the Chargers or if they will hold any back for promotions/giveaways.With my dodger season tickets i get the flat ticket rate for each game. For all I know, I just snagged the last good PSL OR I am the only sucker who bought one...I did notice that the PSL says that it gives you the right to this stadium or ANY other stadium in the LA area... sorta vague but.......now that the Clippers may get their own stadium next door, maybe the Chargers can move in with them =) Old San Diego friends you know.I was told by my rep that all seats will require a SSL. I don't know about the Chargers or if they will hold any back for promotions/giveaways.
