Los Ramos also got a 5th Comp Pick for 2022 for the Brad Holmes, Lions GM hire. That 2017 Draft was golden for McSnead.Since that 2017 Draft....McSnead's picks have been not so hot, as max's analysis revealed.I posted 3 seasons in, after the 2020 season, on the weakness of our 2018 Draft (and took some heat) because I suggested that out of 11 guys drafted in 2018 by McSnead (Eleven!!), that at that point in time, IE. prior to the start of the 2021 season, that only having SJD as a solid "starter" (even though spotrac.com SJD had fewer than 50% of Rams snaps played for 2020) indicated a shitty 2018 Ram Draft. Anyhoo, the point was that most of those other 2018 Ram Draft picks spent most of their Paid Ram Time in Reggie's hot tubs...Obo, Kiser, Travin Howard, Trevon Young, Demby , Justin Lawler et al, spent most of their time tubbing.Today, McSnead's 2018 Draft yeilded Los Ramos two porcelain-doll OLinemen Noteboom and Allen who are not ProBowlers, appear overpaid IMO, and get IR'd alot. Plus the two Comp Picks for SJD (6th) and Obo (7th). Travin Howard is still on the roster, and made a helluva play in the 2021 NFCCG, but per spotrac, the oft-injured Howard has a total of 203 snaps played for Los Ramos since, the 5 seasons now, since 2018. The upcoming 2023 Comp Picks for CB Darious Williams and OG Austin Corbett came from later pickups....IE. waiver wire for DWill in 2019 and Corbett (the 2018 #33 overall Browns pick) was obtained by McSnead for a 2020 5th Round Pick from Cleveland.....which was a helluva pickup by Les Snead. BUT....other than the mega-trades for Ramsey & Stafford, there has been...no such magic in McSnead's Bag-Of-Untraded-Draft-Tricks lately though. Oh yeah, and about that logic of replacing poor Ram Draft Picks via brilliant UDFA pickups....kinda like fucking up your Stock Portfolio, but hoping to make it up finding loose change in the sofa, no? 1 by MartzMadness 2 years 8 months ago Total posts: 5 Joined: Nov 06 2022 LA Coliseum Undrafted Free Agent Re: The O line POST #312 The loss of Whit really hurt the team. by ramsman34 2 years 8 months ago Total posts: 10040 Joined: Apr 16 2015 Back in LA baby! This off-season is the big one. He has to basically hit in everything in the draft and FA and those hits have to play immediately and upgrade the OL, Edge and WR - immediately, lest they waste the star power they have now. And that Shelton is looking like a real possibility this week. If he isn’t, I actually like your new line. However, much to your chagrin about “beef”, if Shelton is a “go”, I think it will be:Jax - Brewer - Allen - Shelton - Hav by 69RamFan 2 years 8 months ago Total posts: 3592 Joined: Oct 15 2016 LA CA by way of NY/NJ Superstar The O line POST #319 ramsman34 wrote:MCV said Edwards eligible next week.
