I've been suggesting it since I joined and i'll say it again. It would be a better more organized board if we had 2 or 3 designated threads for the majority of news and conversation. Examples: Injury Thread, Rams News Thread, Ticketing Thread (sticky), Other Teams Thread. It would make RFU more stream lined. We can even come up with funny thread names when its time to start a new one. I even started a couple and tried to keep them going but you guys are used to your own system of creating a thread for every article, every piece of news, every thought that comes to someone. It makes the place super cluttered and harder to read especially when the same conversations are being held in 3 different threads. What's the benefit of that? But I guess its what the locals want.

I'll shut up about it now. I don't want you guys to think i'm inflammed about the issue. Lol. Huh??? Huh????

I like the way it's working now.

The mods do a great job merging similar threads.

I definitely don't want to sift through a 100 page thread for Rams news.

Why would you have to sift though 100 pages when the forum has this awesome one click button which takes you exactly where you left off reading a thread.

I'm guilty of missing a day or two from time to time. Getting back to page 83 might take a few more clicks.

I like the creative posters here and being able to start an original thought thread is easy and nice to navigate.

This thread is a perfect example of how the same topic came from 2 threads into 1.

But it doesn't. The little blue bookmark next to the title of every thread indicates unread posts. When you click it (just once lol) it take you to wherever you left off. So in fact you don't miss any news or posts which you might miss if a stand alone thread was created for it and then pushed down to page 2 or something due to other threads being created like on a gameday. The forum is actually designed to be read like that.

There would be no compulsion for anyone to not start a new thread if indeed they have had an original thought or idea thats not being discussed in other threads.

See i disagree. In this case the threads were merged but 99% of the time they are not.

I understand thats the style you all are used to......... i just feel like the forum is very cluttered and the way we do things makes it harder to navigate it which matters when a person visits the site for the first time and is deciding whether to sign up or not. The visuals of RFU are second to none which is the major factor is attracting new members in my opinion. If it was more organized it would contribute in keeping those people here and keep them coming back. We are hardcore fans so we want every single bit of info about the Rams. It would be harder to miss an injury news if you saw the injury thread has been bumped and has unread posts.
