Its not the negativity about the Welker signing, I'm not very excited about his signing either, its just in general, everyone down on Fisher. Yea his style of football isn't exciting, but it worked for Seattle and San Fran. If the receivers make some catches things would have been different. Also the two point conversion that failed, as far as Fisher playing with fear, I don't get that, when Fisher takes a chance and pulls it off, we call him a gambler, when he takes a chance and fails we say he's playing in fear. I'm frustrated with our receivers more then I am with our head coach. Would have liked to see the Rams make a trade last week for one.

If Mike Martz was the OC this year not only would these receivers get open, but their numbers would far exceed what we've witnessed.

I would have gone with "rice paper". It's sad to see these guys who love the game so much have to leave or worse, try and hang on too long but Welker really seems to be in that Aikman, Chris Miller category where it's just time.

Hopefully he makes it through the last 8 games but if he couldn't stay healthy in Denver I don't see how he's going to stay healthy with the Rams when they're probably going to lean on him a lot more and he'll be in a dome instead of on grass.

And, speaking of just his ability at this point, he was having trouble catching passes from Brady and Manning. Those guys are pretty good about placement and he was having trouble. The way Foles has been playing? I think it's going to be problematic.
