Kroenke and Demoff hired Fisher. He is "the guy" in Korenke's organizational model. Fisher hired Snead. Fisher is at the top of the football people ladder.

Maybe they make Snead the guy (if he'll do it) and tell him to hire a new coach but in all likelihood replacing Fisher would go up to the Kroenke/Demoff level.

And right now they're playing high stakes relocation poker. I can't imagine they're spending time on Jeff Fisher's limited upside.

So i just don't see it happening.

If Fisher would put up one of those 1 or 2 win stinkers Spagnulo and Linehan were so genius at, maybe Fisher could force their hand.

But as long as relocation is on the front burner, Jeff Fisher isn't.

He has been HC since 2012. It's not knee jerk to say that enough is enough. His best season was his first season so far, 7-8-1. I have said (elsewhere), that if Jeff Fisher doesn't bring the team to 9 wins THIS year, he should be fired, FIRED. He probably won't be unless Kroenke feels like LA isn't going to happen (maybe)

Yes, I did.
I actually do respect Elvis' posts and tone and don't want him to think I'm being belligerent or merely attacking him.

Obviously, I strongly disagree with his perspective.
Other than commenting on a comment, do you have a point, asshole?

I think the perspective he's trying to relay is SK's perspective. SK is focusing on moving the team. The coaching situation is not on SK's radar no matter how badly they do. They won't end up with a 1 or 2 win season as they have 4 now. Chances are they'll win a couple more this year.

To us its pretty clear. The game has passed Fisher by. The NFL made it clear the days of aggressive, hard hitting defenses are not what they want in today's NFL. They made it clear by instructing the refs to watch the Rams closely and throw flags if anything is even close to an illegal hit. The refs had one hand on the flag all day ready to throw it at the first sign of roughness. So much so that they ignored a couple infractions by the Bears. Heck, they even threw questionable flags on the Rams offense.

Scoring is what the NFL wants. And you have to pass in order to score a lot. With Fisher's philosophy, that won't happen. He wants a hard hitting, low scoring defensive struggle with power running. The league ain't gonna let him do that.

I thought the discourse between Elvis and Dick84 went very civil and respectful to each other. We are never all going to agree on everything, but we can all respect each other's opinions.

That's what makes it fun.

TSFH might have some bad experience he associates with the word "respectfully."
