What's your overall opinion on Case? Admittedly, I didn't follow him at all when he was at the helm for you guys, I'm just curious what the general consensus was on his time here?

That aside, one question.....I keep hearing people alluding to the Rams being weak up the middle against the run, which I don't understand. You've got possibly the most dominant DT in the game in Aaron Donald, how can that be possible? Is the tackle next to him a liability, or is Aaron too focused on getting into the backfield without maintaining gap integrity?

Just curious.

They platoon the D-line. It's more about getting a read on the game and adjusting to it. You might see a some hole early but they usually close up as the game progresses.

The Rams had a bit of trouble early in the season adjusting to the 3-4 alignment. Donald missed all of camp and game 1 too. Once he rounded into shape, it started to come together.

Robert Quinn has been slowed with an "illness" too but the Rams brought in some guys in the off season that allows us almost forget about him. Gotta say, overall, they have been stout up front.

Pop gun arm. That's it. He's no flash either but he's a team guy and a gamer. I think he sucked here but I put that on our former coaching staff.

It's somewhat clear when you consider the inept numbers Case and Goff had last year compared to today. The glaring difference is the absence of Jeff Fisher in both cases. Bradford too.

Still that pop-gun can get him into trouble.

When we “got him” from Houston I was a fan of his. Thought he could be the hidden gem.
Once he hit the field though it was pretty obvious he wasn’t the answer. That Baltimore game was it for me. Flacco was throwing darts while Keenum looked like he was throwing a nerf ball in a windstorm.
There’s a reason he wasn’t drafted despite all his success in college and it’s rhe same reason he’s playing for his 5th team in the pros

Agree with Hacksaw’s response, including that he is a gamer. He certainly gives it his all.

I expect to see a good game out of Case on Sunday v his old team.

I also like the way I’ve only seen respect for each other in the press this week by both Keeenum and Goff.

I have a couple real close friends that are Vikings Fans. The Vikings have become the "other" team I hate the least in the league. Even though I cried when I was like 11 when you beat us in the playoffs in the mid 70's. Your fan base are class acts and appreciate you being here Josey Wales. (love, love, love that movie) And your stadium set the standard for the league. Absolutely incredible. Watched it go up with the stadium cams. So much fun. And the Inglewood Stadium is designed by the same people.

My opinion is you never knew which Case was going to show up. He had some monumental games for us. We all knew that he was very challenged with a horrible offensive line and coached by some who would only succeed on a team in "middle school". Well, maybe not even there. He does have a tendency to sail the ball due to what appears to be arm strength. When Goff hit Sammy on that 62 yard strike one of my thoughts were "Case couldn't have done that". But that doesn't mean he can't win. He seems to be a good game manager.

I liked Case. Still do being the occasional Vikings bandwagoner due to my friendships. I believe he could be a guy who can take a team deep into the playoffs with the right situation. And he may well be there. He is a total gamer. And can take a hit. The Rams proved that over a couple years for sure.

I too think it will be a tight game. A fun one is expected. I just hope your team doesn't make me cry, again.

Nah, RFU is a cool site, we accept all comers...However, next time you visit over here you may want to bring some sandwiches for everyone. Tuna on whole wheat with a pickle would be nice for me.

As most have said Fisher ruined everyone's reputation on offense. His prehistoric offense put everyone in a bad position and made them look incompetent. Case's wife may be the most NFL informed wife in the business as was demonstrated in "Hard Knocks" when she queried her hubby on Fisher's brochure of a playbook.
