You have one BC? I always love a .45 over a 9 mike mike. Back in 89 our unit would use both and we got to chose what we qualed with after we had to take a more unique shooting class. I used the M1911. Just loved the feel and the kick you just knew if you placed one on target it was not getting up. I think they have finally phased the M1911 out now but man that was a fun sidearm to shoot.

Out of my personal collection my favorite to fire is a .44 Remington new model Army 1861. Is a ball an cap so is just a blast to shoot then swat the cloud of black powder aside so ya can aim for your next round......LOL
