Yeah, no kidding. Passing off a letter from The Chargers as being from the NFL is some pretty shady muckraking.

Sileo made a big deal about having Fabiani on his Facebook page denying the letter came from him. So maybe he'll say it was all a big reuse to expose Fabiani as a liar?

Still, somehow i think it will end more like a whimper...

My gut reaction (probably will change in 12 hours) is that if Fabrini is going to use media members as proxies and one of the proxies goes off the reservation, it's all on Fabrini. Of course that assumes Silly-o went off the reservation and was not led there. Out of the three teams and four cities involved in this relocation saga, it only seems like it's just one party out there using the media -- which means it's only one party out there encouraging media members to make a name for themselves . . . . not excusing Silly-blo, I suspect he'll get the hate/heat he deserves.

Way back at the start, when the ChaRaiders mentioned their joint plan with rushed, recycled plans from Soldier Field, with blacked out and reversed pictures of Bears fans (to hide that they were Bears fans) and with the ChaRaiders admitting that their move was heavily reactionary in response to Stan, I had the feeling that Carson was fake. Now we add this saga from Silly-bro, whether Fabrini was directly a part of it or not, it's still not easy for me to take this Carson thing seriously.

I think everyone was on a different street a year ago. They wanted Davis out and that Spanos was a dysfunctional owner.

I agree with that but SD is his last shot after his issues in Florida so I don't think he would go out further on a limb by saying he was going to release the name on Friday if he didn't have a name.

Thanks for the update Ripper. Perhaps Sillyo got what he wanted. We have been talking about hi, for 3 days. Seems like this document was a public influence piece. He couldn't have thought it would effect the outcome of anything... I knew there would be a few pressers leading up to the 8-11 meeting. I still expect Frawley to rule in favor soon leaving a good taste in everyone's mouth towards StL (if possible). Just didn't expect stupid crap like this.
