So Davante Adams is a FA. How much, if at all does that affect the Kupp trade or slim potential restructure?

Would the Rams have real interest in him or is he waiting to see where A Rod ends up?

Is it too risky to forgo a FW WR bc of cost, and only rely on the draft?

This can apply to almost any quality vet FA WR.

What does everyone think the Rams’plan at WR is?

Personally, I hope they sign a younger FA that isn’t a big name yet. And add 2-3 through the Draft, AND find a way to keep Kupp as a WR 3/4. A more situational player.

I think that last part is unlikely.

I mean DeVante would work pretty well with Stafford based on how good he looked late in the season. Would love to have that guy in the redzone with those mitts.

I say get DeVante and draft a 1-2 WR's and get that TE.

McCord will not get drafted Round 1, he makes too many mistakes. I also think the Rams want someone more athletic, McCord is slow reacting to pressure.

McCord needs a year of mentoring. He needs polish to be a starter. But he looks like a young Stafford, including the slow feet. LOL Once they see this kid play fans will love him. He can make all the throws and he's the best of the pocket passers. His mistakes are often misreads, which come with experience. That is why imagine him sitting next to Stafford listening to Matt describing what he sees. All the coaches aside, sometimes the best teacher is another player. Look at how much both Puka and Jordan have benefited from their practices with Kupp, who is showing them what he sees and why he does things.

The Rams should make Kupp an offer to retire and join the team as a WR assistant coach.

I think the Rams understand the importance of giving the rookie time to polish his game and technique. But there is no question McCord looks to be a fit for the Ram offense as it is right now.

I'm not surprised about Tomlinson.

So more and more vet WRs hitting the market. Killing the chance of trading Kupp unless the Rams eat a lot of salary. Starting to lean toward they will release him outright. And if I were Kupp, I’d probably want that so I control where I go. Less then 5% chance he stays on a renegotiated contract.

So the next question is, what vet FA do the Rams sign? More than 1? Do they trade for a guy? They will certainly grab one in the draft as well.
