Basically, if the offense can produce at say 28+/game, I really like this team going far in the playoffs. The defense can do enough and get key stops. That offense HAS to support by scoring TDs and not turning the ball over.

From there they will very likely be underdogs(and as of today they are 3 point dogs to the Vikings) to whoever they get. Can they win it all? If a team is in the playoffs anything is possible but their number 10 power ranking is fair although I believe the Rams are better than the number 9 ranked Broncos.

I have as hard of a time measuring the difference between those 2 teams. Other than the players who played for both.....Kupp, Havenstein, Stafford, Alaric (sub), D. Will, Rozeboom (sub), Hoecht (sub), there's not much to go. It's as hard as comparing the 67 Rams to the 73 Rams or the 89 Rams to the 03 Rams.

What I do know is we won 12 in 2021 and only 10 this season. We were still the #4 seed. We had AD on the DL, Big Whit on the OL and Ramsey in the defensive backfield. I think our interior OL is better and our pass rush might be almost as good. I think our offensive skill players are better.....at WR and RB. I think our STs might be better (as difficult as that may be to decide). Evans/Hekker; Gay/Karty; Powell/Whittington. I think our coach is smarter. And I think we're too young on the defense to know what we don't know.

I don't know what to expect from these guys other than a good effort. I didn't expect much more from the 2021 team.

Got to spread the ball around, cant be just Puka. More Whitt, TJ and Tutu, less Kupp especially on 3rd down. No force feeding!

Spread has settled, for the moment, at Vikings by 1.5

McVay says Havs will be ready to go and they're still working on what to do about JJ and Reeder...

A couple items about this game-

- Last time we beat the Vikings at home they were coming off a physical loss to the Lions. Teams are 6-10 the following week after playing the Lions with minus -108 in point differential (h/t to Mike Sando).

- The Lions got away with being very physical with the Viking WR's will the referee's for the Rams- Vikings allow such physical play.

I forgot about the game after the Lions angle. That's a good one.

I noticed how much the Lions were getting away with against the Vikings recievers too and i was think more in terms of if we end up playing them. Will it continue? Will we have an answer? Will it be the 2001 SB all over again?
