Not looking ahead….but looking ahead. The Vikings play a monster divisional game Sunday for first place in their division. The play the ultra physical Lions. I don’t think any team who’s played the Lions has won the following week. So, Minn will be coming off a huge emotional game and what should be a very physical game. Then they have to travel across the county on a short week to play the Rams who will have played the raiders at home after coming off their bye. Probably not a better time to get the Vikings.

Now, back to reality. The Rams have to show up and beat the Raiders and stay healthy Sunday. What would be phenomenal is if somehow the Rams can come out hot and get a big lead. Then hold that big lead so they can pull starters late in the game. Man I am cooking up a wish list here but damn, that would really set up nicely for the next 2 games. Then the Rams get a mini bye before they head up to face the Hated Ones - 1b in Seattle. Then an extra day of rest/prep before they host the very beatable Dolphins on MNF. Sounds like a perfect set up for a 4-game win streak to me!!!

It all starts Sunday.

"On the Rams use of motion on offense ... after every play we have to talk ...their menu is not big, but they run those plays to perfection"

Confirms what a lot of us have said before. Mcvay runs the SAME plays ad nauseum and just expects the players to out-execute the defense every game

That's the literal definition of insanity. It has produced an average of 18 points per game, Sean. Give your offense a fighting chance and throw some wrinkles into the playbook ffs

There is quite a difference between running the same plays and making plays look the same pre snap. Also, when plays work, coaches call them repeatedly, well good coaches call variations of the play to get the same match ups. So, those plays are technically “the same” but they look different pre snap based on personnel and formational alignment.

The Las Vegas Raiders had a wild week of front-office moves. NFL legend Tom Brady gained a minority ownership stake in the team alongside his former New England teammate and NFL Hall of Famer Richard Seymour. The Raiders also moved on from star wide receiver Davante Adams, sending him to the Jets.

Maxx Crosby missed time in practice this week and with rumors circling of his irritation with the franchise, they may be without their star defensive lineman.

They can change that look even more if they use more 12 personnel sets.
This would also limit the wear and tear on the wide outs. (See Kupp, Nacua)

A couple people are saying Schefter is saying Kupp is unlikely tomorrow but haven't found Shefty saying it yet:
