I listen to Whitesnake

I like David Coverdale and Deep Purple better. He hadn't Glenn Hughes added a harmony factor and a serious vocal thing to that band.
I saw them at Cal Jam 2 live and it was unbelievable..! So was ELP and others.
Those were some loud M'ers.

Maybe a tick better than pedestrian. Losing faith in Edwards. Not bc of concussions either. He just looks weak. B Allen is low and strong and nasty. That is sorely missing Shelton is more a technician. But by the time he is back, it might not matter. We need one of the 2 new vets to handle LG and one temporarily at OC (until Allen gets back) and then the staff has to find the best 5 and get them in the right positions. The whiner game after the bye should tell us a lot about IF we can field a winning OL for the rest of the season.

Still San Francisco is a bad match up like Dallas and Buffalo were. Bigger fronts.. You need to be able to beat every kind of team of course, but matchups matter. I firmly believe we will weather this storm as guys start coming back.

What I don't understand,

When we play teams that we know its going to be a tough defense,

Then why doesn't McVay adjust to the defense,

Especially knowing that we have been playing musical chairs with our OL.

Bring in an extra OLineman in the game, instead of a TE or RB,

Set the Lineman as a RB covering the gaps in the middle.

That is McVay's curse,

he thinks he can do all of the same schemes to every team we play.

He can't be doing this to Staff,

knowing that he doesn't have the strongest OL on game day.

Having an extra Lineman, could open up more holes for our RB too.

I just shake my head and say to myself, why can't he make adjustments?

Sometimes it seems he's slow to react or change the path / status quo. Keeps the pedal floored. He believes in continuity,, however when you gotta mix it up, ya gotta mix it up. We need to mix it up
