That should be helpful to Rodgers in the 8-9 games Watkins suits up for.

Assuming he finishes the route.

This has as much potential to turn bad as it does to be good. Jmo

I take him at his word, except for the part "I never watch a game and say, I wish I was out there". He's played in a Superbowl but lost while touching the ball just 11 times. You know any competitive athlete would love to be back out there competing, especially with that offense.

But he was a workhorse. He averaged 253 carries per season over 5 years with the Rams. With his receptions (218 @ 43.6 per year) that's 297 touches per year. He scored 70 TDs, almost 1 per game. We may forget he came into the NFL with a bum knee. And he was well paid too, so he deserves to sit back and enjoy the rest of his life.

Just don't try to tell me, "I don't wish I was out there". If that's true then he's less competitive than I credited him to be.

I tend to agree with you, especially given that he's just 27. But you never know. If he wakes up every morning with an aching knee (and maybe other aching parts), maybe he does say to himself, "I don't wish I was still out there."

Todd Gurley wrote:Happy for guys like AD that really work hard,” Gurley said. “Guys like Jalen Ramsey that put in work. Obviously gotta go with all my running back guys, seeing guys like Cam Akers come back from an Achilles in four months. Sony Michel getting traded from the Patriots, not only did he beat the Rams in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago, he’s also won one with them, as well. Guys like Gerald Henderson. So, you always get excited for the guys. It’s never just about you. Yeah, everyone would love a ring. But at the end of the day, it’s about being able to congratulate and then see other guys succeed and being happy for them.

He then goes on to say he's not much interested in FB . Rumors has passed by me that he was over FB in college..
The Rams put some miles on him...
