Seems to be a lot out there for the opener this weekend. My guess is most/all of those purple dots are the broker held season tickets

I predict massive failure for the Rams long term as a result of this trade and not having 4 1st round picks in a row due to this trade and the Jalen Ramsey trade.

This has been the mantra for people who've been predicting the Rams demise for several years. It started in 2018. But here we are several years later still looking like a legit contender for the foreseeable future. If the window finally closes for a year or two by 2024 after all the winning seasons and playoff appearances, even one Superbowl win will have made it all worth it.

It's funny how that works. One minute they're slamming you, the next they're copying you.

Whether it's a lot of the stuff Martz did that seemed wrong and radical, throwing a lot, empty backfield, whatever, those things are commonplace now.

McVay doesn't play his starters in preseason and that trend is only growing, same with Snead's approach to roster building...

Why do some fans value draft picks so highly? Lower salaries?? Bc it can’t be based on performance. Potential?? Over 50% of the picks never do anything in the NFL. I think the Rams know what they are doing now and going forward. They have a decent number of picks each year. Just no first rounders. Instead we trade those for former first rounders who are proven.

EDIT: I used to be obsessed with the draft. But after tracking how many picks amount to nothing, I am way more into and fascinated by how McSnead are roster building now. Draft picks are important. But, the Rams value the sum of RDs 2-4 higher than the first RD.

Yes, it's funny how some fans go ballistic because they didn't take this position there or took that player early. When there's a 50% failure rate why not think outside the box? They haven't had a first round pick since Goff but like you said, they've acquired proven players with those first round picks....many of those players being former first rounders. :shock2: Practically eliminated the risk completely. I like the way they're doing things.

:idea2: If there's a 50% failure rate, using your first round picks for proven players, while using your less valuable lower picks to play the lottery, gives you a better chance than most, I'd think. Maybe the Rams screw up a 3rd or 4th round pick while others are screwing up their first round bets.
