Anyone else have an opinion on Nick Toon (WR)? I like the look of this kid. But then I see he is in year 4 and still on a PS player. What gives?

His dad, AL was a good player with the Jet. Nick was a pretty good player in college and he was projected to be a decent WR in the NFL (he has the prefect size to be a red zone WR- 6'4" and 220 lbs). I'm surprised that he washed out so early in his NFL career. It doesn't seem like he got much of a chance with the Saints, but if a WR can't make it with the Saints/Brees, then maybe he doesn't deserve to be in the NFL. It's too bad he didn't get some action starting a few games ago.

Some of the staff are going to Vermeil's winery after practice. I gave them an excellent restaurant recommendation which is on the way

I haven't seen any pics. of where they went before the winery, but here's a pic. of some of the staff at the winery.

Vermeil's winery is in Calistoga, which is approx 20mins North of the practice field, and I drove past on my way home. But I think he also has a tasting room in Napa. Not sure which one they were headed to.

But I do recognize some of the staff in that photo. I had a good chat with the guy in the middle about wines, and he showed me a photo on his phone of a wine he had drank earlier in the week - sounds like the bottle was pretty expensive

The guy standing next to him was directing Zurlein's FG show, which was most impressive indeed. He even pulled a ball out of rotation because, as he said to me, it was too new and they only like to use broken in balls.

One of the girls in the photo was hanging out near where I was as well, but her and I didn't speak other than to say good morning.

Anyway, glad they got to visit Dick's tasting room, and I hope they took my advice about restaurants

I've lived in both places, StL & California, and It's a whole different world out here for these folks. It looked like they were really enjoying their time this week, as it's a pretty incredible place here, and today was just magical day.

Yup, the guy looks like your prototypical NFL WR. Now that you mention it, I remember Al, his dad, well. That was a fun Jets team to watch.

Anyway, i wish that kid well. He looks to me like if given the chance he just might break out, Perhaps that's what the coaches are hoping for as well.

Loved when you had that avatar Sam Elliot is not only a great actor, but his voice overs are simply amazing and the fact he does Dodge Ram Trucks only makes it even better.

That photo looks like the tasting room in downtown Napa. Not sure how much damage they incurred from the earthquake. I heard it wasn't too bad.

I've been to both tasting rooms. Tons of Vermeil memorabilia in Calistoga with a huge cutout of DV. Lots of Rams stuff as well as Chiefs and Eagles. I was there last spring and had my pic taken with DV's cutout. Pretty funny stuff.

I have to be honest, DV's wines aren't very good. I wish they were just for DV's sake.
