"The LA committee is made of six owners of varying degrees of influence and not all of them agree. However, McNair is the least influential of all the owners in the NFL, being the last one to have a team (since 2002)."

Not sure where Carl got that idea that McNair is the last owner to have a team. At least half the owners in the NFL have a shorter tenure than him.

Wasn't certain either. That comment caught me by surprise and is one of the reasons why I posted it.
So I check it and indeed you are correct. Half the league, 16 owners have taken over since 1999 when McNair rolled out the Texans One of them being Kroenke. We know that ESK was part owner prior though.
Of the remaining 15, 8 owners inherited their team, but only 3 of them after McHair took the bid from LA.
Perhaps he's just not well liked. Sound familiar.

Who are these Houston writer talking about. Again sounds familiar. lol

"Bob McNair is, without a doubt, the worse owner in the history of Houston sports. But there’s absolutely no reason for him to change. He’s making money. He’s everything that Bud Adams was accused of being, and it’s time the fans and the media started treating McNair the way they treated Adams.

McNair deserves contempt; he deserves fan anger. Not that it’ll matter, not that it’ll actually change anything. Not as long as he’s making millions upon millions of dollars a year by fielding a largely non-competitive, mediocre product year after year after year.

Although you can tip cows! ;)

I think our boys are happy where they are today. And, they better go practice their ass off. No playoffs? The LA Rams are starting their WINNING streak.

When we are in the play-offs, there will be no midwest taint.

I think they are referring to the Texans being the last team added to the NFL
