I wonder what happened to that lawsuit from a San Diego newspaper to Carson city officials over being denied public documents over the Carson Stadium? Nothing has been said about it since, but still no firm documents or financials about this stadium. I don't see how this stadium could be ready in time for the 2020 season with no actual permits, plans or infrastructure work being done. Would be the beginning of the end for the popularity of the NFL if Carson is chosen IMO.

Bottom line, what makes most sense across the board, checking every box, is Rams/Chargers in Inglewood

So frustrating that that isnt the main point

Or maybe it is. We will see soon enough.

Perhaps this power play by the Spanos camp is a last ditch effort to get Kroenke not to file before they capitulate and make a deal?

I dont see any way Spanos makes deal with Kroenke. The opportunity has been there

Yup, which is why I've been saying that ESK will get an expansion team by 2020 as his tenant.

Right. But Spanos would prefer keeping SK out of L.A. altogether and maybe he thinks he can pull it off.

If and when the time comes that he can't keep SK out of L.A., his feeling about a deal might be very different...
